iPhone Apps to Keep Your Golf Score

If you have an iPhone and you want to save your golf score on something other than paper, guess what, there’s an app for that! The problem is there are too many apps to choose from! This post is meant to save you some time. These two apps are completely free and they’re not lite versions of some other app with annoying pop-ups telling you to buy the full version.

This app comes with a lot of nice features but the niciest one is that it allows you to copy the players and par values to create a new round. If you play the same course often it will save you a lot of time as you don’t need to re-enter the same information every time you play. Another nice feature is that it lets you lock your rounds. This prevents accidental changes if you’re reviewing your score. The user interface is a little complicated at first but once you figure out what each button does it’s pretty easy to use.

Golf Scorecard is a little more basic than the previous app and lacks some of the more advanced features like locking and copying previous rounds. Even without these features it’s a great application. Entering the data is really easy and intuitive. A nice feature is that it lets you add player’s names by looking them up in your contacts. Because entering the data is so easy, not being able to save the par values from a previous round is not an issue. This is one of the best basic golf score iPhone app that gives you everything you need to keep your golf score without extra unnecessary fluff.

There probably are other good golf score apps out there but if don’t want to waste your time and you just want to get started these two are great choices.
